It's Me Again....

In my last post I told all of you that I was taking a break from my blog, but I've been receiving emails lately from people asking me questions, sending me support, and healthy eating tips for my Dystonia.  Your support has been unbelievable, so I want to pop in every once in a while and add some information for you. 

My update:

I've been taking 1-2 teaspoons of Coconut Oil about 4-5 times a week, and Chia Seeds for Omega 3.

I had to step away from yoga for a couple of months, because I had pulled a muscle in my arm that was causing a sciatic pain for months.  My neurologist said that he's not concerned about it, and he believes that once I'm feeling better I can go back to my daily yoga routine. 

I'm still receiving 300 units of Botox every three months in my neck and upper back.  The injections are still working for me.  Thank GOD!  I was starting to have severe tremors (secondary tremors) in my hands from my Cervical Dystonia, but my neurologist told me that it doesn't mean that my Dystonia is moving down into my arms.  My family noticed it the most because it is more severe in the mornings for some reason.  I was also having issues taking pictures with my camera or my phone.  My hands were shaking so bad that the photos were coming out blurry.  I would have to take a couple of shots and pick out the one that was the least blurry.  lol  Whatta ya gonna do?  My tremors have slowed down drastically, so I'm not as worried about it as I was before.
